Pink gets Pinker

I'm determined to walk in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in NYC on October 16th and 17th. This means I have to train, buy a great pair of walking shoes, and raise $1,800.

So every single dollar counts.

We had a garage sale on Saturday and I sold cupcakes and pink lemonade for $.50 each.

One lady refused to pay $.50 for the lemonade since they were in "such small cups" and "you can buy a whole container of powdered lemonade for $3." Of course you can, that is exactly what I did! I explained to her that it was for charity, but she still haggled me down to a quarter a cup. I sold it to her, since I had way more pink lemonade than I could possibly sell in one day and a quarter is better than nothing, but it was the principle of the thing.

O'well, I made $30!

If you are interested in donating please go here, like I said, every dollar counts: www.avonwalk.org/goto/EmmaMary4
